The Shorrock family have been making Lancashire Cheese for generations. Andrew's grandfather, John Gaskel Shorrock, won Supreme Champion at the last Preston Open Cheese Competition before the war broke out, in 1938. Andrew has since been the creator of the Lancashire Bomb, having originally made the first bomb as a leaving gift over 25 years ago for a friend emigrating to America. This was the start of this amazing product. The “bombs” are clothbound for 12 months before being waxed, and aged for another 12 months to produce a succulent strong creamy Lancashire.
