Tasting Notes Cheese: 

Isle of Mull Cheddar is vastly different from any other cheddar in the UK. This is largely due to the diet of the predominantly Friesian heard who, with the wet weather, spend much of the year on silage. This gives the cheese its distinctive boozy, farmy taste. Drier than most cheddars, it can often have mild blue veining around the rind.
