Clare's Preserves Damson

After graduating from Ashburton Cookery School with a professional culinary diploma, Clare started producing a few varieties of seasonal preserves as a treat for friends and family. The feedback was so overwhelmingly positive that Clare launched her business in 2014. Clare’s Preserves is a true artisan producer of multi award winning marmalades, jams, jellies, chutneys and relishes. Based in the foothills of Dartmoor, all products are handmade by Clare in small batches, using traditional open pot methods. We are truly lucky to have such a great producer and friend on our doorstep and love sharing her creations with the whole of the UK.

Tasting Notes: 

Local damsons are slowly cooked with onions and apples and a blend of spices to produce a chutney that is spicy, sweet and tangy, all at the same time. The perfect winter warmer that adds sweetness to your cheeseboard.
