Tasting Notes Drink:

J-B Adam is one of the oldest estates in Alsace, with 19 ha of organic vineyard in the Haut-Rhin village of Ammerschwihr. The granite slopes of Grand Cru ‘Kaefferkopf’ provide the backdrop to the village and produce the estate’s unforgettable wines. Four hundred years on, J-B Adam remains in safe family hands, guided by the 14th generation of Adams. Adam have created an organic range of wines which are fully dedicated to the expression of the grape variety. This Pinot Blanc is bright yellow colour with golden hues and surprising ripeness lending weight and softness. The grapes are hand-picked and vinified in century old traditional wooden casks to express the natural fruit characters of apples and stone fruits with elements of baked fruits and cinnamon.

Pair with: Strong hard cheeses, alpine cheeses, strong brie and Camembert.  Avoid blues as the minerality may conflict with the Penicillium Roqueforti.

Our Perfect Cheeseboard: Cornish Gouda or any strong Gouda, Cornish Kern or Comté Fort Saint Antoine AOC, The Truffler, Fontina, Miller’s Toast Fig & Sultana or Peter’s Yard Spelt & Fig, Mixed Nuts and Dried Fruit.                                     *Please not this bottle will not fit in our presentation boxes
