Tasting Notes Drink:

Artiga was founded in Spain’s Vilafranca del Penedès in 2002, by an international team of young, but highly-experienced wine professionals, headed by Mr. Martí Quer. Their aim was to breathe a fresh lease of life into the production and marketing of Spanish wines. Made with grapes from 110-year-old Monastrell vines (known as Mourvedre in France), this wine is a deep ruby in colour with a pronounced nose of ripe black fruits. The palate is soft and velvety with hints of mocha, vanilla and blackberries. Supple tannins add structure to the wine, which finishes long and refined.

Pair with: Hard and semi hard cheese, most blues.

Our Perfect Cheeseboard: Lincolnshire Poacher, Colston Bassett Stilton, Dorset Crofter, Peter’s Yard Original 105g, Clare’s Damson Chutney, Farmhouse Pork Pâté and Walnuts.
