Tasting Notes Drink: 

Clos Guirouilh is a small, prestigious estate which has been family run since the sixteenth century. Their 10 hectares of vineyard are located in the village of Lasseube. The estate is acknowledged by Robert Parker to be `one of the outstanding sweet Jurancon producers and this dry Jurancon Sec shows their capabilities as not only a sweet wine producer, but a dry wine producer too. A beautiful lemon gold in colour with acacia and white flowers on the nose. The palate is dry with a slight creaminess and flavours of citrus, apple and a touch of stone fruit. The weightiness of the palate is balanced perfectly by a refreshing acidity leaving elegant flavours of apple and pear in the mouth on the finish. A very good after dinner cheeseboard wine for people who prefer a drier option.

Pair with: Most blue cheese, rind washed, medium and strong hard cheeses.
